What am I paying for?
Cloud storage. Every plan has every feature: HowlVault Desktop for Mac and Windows, the phone app, sequences, and every caller brand. Your vault lives on your computer and your phone; the cloud is the backup that keeps them in step. Plans only differ in how much cloud backup you get.
How many computers and phones can I use?
Every plan uses the cloud on one computer and one phone. HowlVault Desktop itself works on any computer without an account; the limit is only on which computer is logged into your cloud. Change devices up to twice a year from your account page; after that, contact support and we'll sort it out.
How much is the phone app?
$9.99, once. No subscription. It works on its own with no account and no signal; log into the cloud to back it up and keep it in step with your computer.
What happens if I fill my cloud storage?
Nothing on your computer or phone changes: every sound still plays and loads onto your caller. New sounds just stay on that device until you free up cloud space or move to a bigger plan. Backups go oldest first, so you always know which sounds are in the cloud.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your account page anytime. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Sounds on your computer and phone are never affected by your plan.
Is there a free trial for Standard or Pro?
No. The free plan is the trial. It's every feature with 3 GB of cloud backup. No expiring trial, no credit card hold.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click from your account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. No call-to-cancel, no retention emails, no guilt trips.
Do I own my sounds?
Yes. Your sounds live on your own computer and phone, and your cloud backup is private to your account. HowlVault has no sharing, no public libraries, no export-to-other-users. Your sounds are yours, and they stay yours.
