Installing on macOS

  1. 1Download HowlVault for Mac.
  2. 2Open the download and drag HowlVault into your Applications folder.
  3. 3Open HowlVault and agree to the license.
  4. 4Plug in your caller over USB. It shows up in the app.
  5. 5Optional: Log into cloud to back up your vault and use it on your phone.
  6. 6That's it. When a new version is out, HowlVault asks to Install and Restart.

Hidden-file clean.

Strips macOS metadata (.DS_Store, .fseventsd, .Spotlight-V100) and Windows junk before you eject. Your caller never sees the bytes that would glitch it.

When a new version is out, HowlVault asks to Install and Restart. No checking this page, no manual downloads.
